1. Background
By obtaining A score of study program from BAN-PT accreditation, MPBS feels necessary to upgrade their quality to a higher level. In line with the mission to accelerate the achievement of UB as The Worldclass University, MPBS is fully committed to improve its quality to international level. So that, MPBS endeavors to obtain certification of the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) and applies quality assurance systems based on the educational process as AUN-QA standards.
Based on the training document preparation results of AUN-QA 2014 through assistance of SAR AUN-QA preparation by AUN-QA assessors, Prof. Ir. Satria Wise, M.Sc., Ph.D., Institut Tekhnologi Bandung (ITB), and also the results of the AUN-QA Training Course that was held in the center of the AUN-QA Chulanglongkorn Thailand, in August 2015, it is necessary to hold socialization that followed by improvement on the SAR draft document and other supporting documents in accordance to AUN-QA standards.
Thus, this activity is expected to achieve the completion of SAR document in accordance with AUN-QA standards to complete AUN-QA certification requirements in 2015. In addition, MPBS is expected to implement the AUN-QA standards in quality assurance process of education. This of course can encourage the performance of study program to guarantee the quality of education process according to international standards, thus perpetuating the existence of MPBS at international level, and accelerate the achievement of UB toward World Class University.
2. Objectives
The purpose of this activity is to maximize the final process of drafting the document of system quality assurance with AUN-QA standards, which is expected, by the end of 2015, SAR and MP documents can be achieved in accordance with AUN-QA standards to meet AUN-QA certification requirements. In addition, MPBS is expected to implement the AUN-QA standards in quality assurance education process and evaluate continously in order to improve the quality of MPBS learning process.
3. Scope of Activities
This activity will be carried out as a follow up of the Training Course that will be held in the center of the AUN-QA, Bangkok. This activity will prepare documents, evaluation of the documents, and documents with AUN-QA standard adjustment.
4. Output
The expected output of this activity is the completion of document SAR preparation and supporting AUN-QA documents in accordance with the latest standards of AUN-QA. Furthermore, it is expected that AUN-QA certification of MPBS can be done by the end of 2015.
