The Master’s Program in Biomedical Science (PSMIB), Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, organized the Workshop on Evaluation of Learning for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026 and Preparation for Learning in the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026 on Monday, February 2, 2026. This activity is a routine agenda of the study program as part of academic quality assurance and continuous improvement of learning quality.
The workshop began with an opening and welcoming remarks, followed by a presentation on the new Organizational Structure and Governance (SOTK) within PSMIB and accreditation preparation. This session aimed to provide all lecturers with a comprehensive understanding of policy directions, program governance, and readiness for the accreditation process.
The next agenda discussed the curriculum structure and the implementation of the Outcome-Based Education Management Information System (SIM OBE) as part of strengthening learning implementation based on learning outcomes. This was followed by a session on monitoring and evaluation of the learning process as well as the use of BRONE, which serves as a supporting tool for learning and academic evaluation.
The workshop also included a session on monitoring and evaluation of students related to their study period, which is a key concern in efforts to improve timely graduation and student success. All sessions were further enriched through a discussion session, providing a platform for lecturers to share feedback, challenges, and suggestions for improving the learning process.
The activity concluded with a closing session summarizing the outcomes of the workshop and reaffirming a shared commitment to follow up on the evaluation results in the implementation of learning for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026.
Through this workshop, the Master’s Program in Biomedical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, hopes to continuously enhance the quality of learning, strengthen the academic system, and support the achievement of the program’s vision and mission in producing excellent and competitive graduates.
