Implementation Report: September – December 2025 · DIPP, Brawijaya University
The Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University, has completed the first cycle of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for the implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum in 2025. This M&E was conducted by the Directorate of Innovation and Educational Development (DIPP) at Brawijaya University from September through December 2025, covering three main components: curriculum design, completeness of curriculum documents, and assessment of Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLOs).
The M&E results show commendable achievements. The Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences achieved an overall average score of 3.71 out of 4.00, placing the program in the “Very Good” category and establishing it as a benchmark among science and technology master’s programs at Brawijaya University—recognized alongside the Urban Planning and Midwifery programs as a model for best practices in OBE-based GLO assessment.
The program’s primary strength lies in its CPL assessment, which received a perfect score (4.000/4.00). Documentation of assessment methods, implementation schedules, and follow-up procedures is complete and well-structured. The curriculum design was also rated as highly superior (3.857/4.00): measurable CPLs, a comprehensive map of CPLs’ alignment with courses, and Semester Learning Plans (SLPs) that consistently follow the UB DIPP format.
