Friday (Oct 17th) placed in Graha Medika, Faculty of Medicine, University of Brawijaya (FMUB), Master Program in Biomedical Sciences FMUB held Judicium meeting for 9 postgraduate students who had graduated as Master in Biomedical Sciences and also 3 students in Midwifery Sciences. The judicium was opened and chaired by the Vice Dean III FK UB dr. Bambang Prijadi, MS and attended by the Chairman of the Master Program in Biomedical Sciences FMUB, Prof. Dr. dr. Sumarno, DMM., SpMK(K) and the Secretary of the Department of Master of Midwifery, dr . Sutrisno, SpOG (K).
Delivered by the Chairman of Master Program in Biomedical Sciences, Prof. Sumarno, among five students who graduated with cum laude predicate there were two students who passed with 1 year 1 month course duration with cum laude predicate. They were Yona One Sidarta and Elvira Sari Dewi. Even, Yona had completed his writings that had been published in reputed international journals.
Beside congratulate the graduate students and appreciate all graduates who had mean GPA score above 3.50 in his speech Vice Dean III FMUB, dr. Bambang said that the graduates had to continuously developed the sciences mastered and keep the name of FMUB as well.
When PRASETYA met, Yona One Sidarta which was one of the best graduates of Biomedical S2, with Elvira Sari Dewi, with study time 1 year and 1 month of graduation cum laude predicate told that she and Elvira joined Master Program in Biomedical Sciences through the fast – track program. “Initially there was a scholarship offer to cover master program for one year, I applied for selection and I was admitted. Even though the Master Program in Biomedical Sciences is not 100% correspond to my field that dentist as basic, it also discusses the things that also associated with my profession,” she said.
“Luckily I met Prof. Dr.dr Kusworini, MKes, and also Mrs Agustina Tri Endharti, SSi PhD that become my thesis supervisors so I can finish my thesis. My expectations is besides I can continue to Doctoral Degree, I also want to continue my projects with Prof.Kusworini which is still ongoing,” she concluded.

They were Wibowo, S.Kep., Ns.; Salah Benaessa Mohmed Salah; Rena Normasari, dr.; Anis Murniati, S.Kep., Ns.; Siti Zulaikah, S.Si.; Sri Fauziyah, dr.; Ma’rufahS.Si.; Yona One Sidarta and Elvira Sari Dewi from Master Program in Biomedical Sciences also Wahida S.; Riska Faraswati and Rani Safitri from Midwifery Master Program.[ronny]
